Enhanced Science and Language Early Education

*This program begins on Wednesday, October 6th, 2010

The Enhanced Science and Language Program features science activities from the Wings of Discovery program and activities from the Jolly Phonics program. The children will take part in science experiments and focused activities for these experiments as well as focused activities for a letter each week. Examples of themes explored include:

Information circle – children are instructed as to the day’s activities and introduced to the science experiment they will be conducting
Activity centres – children will rotate through activity centres pertaining to the experiment and current theme
Snack
Free play
Organized group gross motor games
Conclusion circle

Wednesday Afternoon Enhanced Science and Language Program

12:45pm-3:00pm October-June
Non-participation only
$70/month if also enrolled in either the AM or PM Preschool Program
$85/month for Wednesday program only

Curriculum based science and phonics focus for preschoolers aged 30 months and up.

Pre-registration dates

We are currently accepting pre-registration forms and $35 registration fees for all families. Programs are filling up quickly, so hand in your forms and cheques to the preschool as soon as you can!

The day Jonathan ran (all smiles) across the gym and jumped into the arms of Teacher Pat after being away from school for 2 weeks - I knew we had made the best choice in a preschool for our son. The group and one on one attention that Teacher Nancy and Teacher Pat, both ECE teachers give to the children provides them with the care, socializing and skills necessary to move on to the next level.
